About

TG + Co is a design-led workshop based on the edge of Dartmoor, South Devon (UK), specialising in architectural joinery, bespoke kitchens, fenestration, and timber frame buildings. Founded in 2013 by Tim Gaudin, the company’s distinctive approach is born out of a love for natural materials and a dedication to thoughtful, high-quality design and craftsmanship.

Defined by meticulous attention to detail, an innate understanding of proportion, and the warmth that expertly crafted timber brings to a space, TG + Co operates at the intersection of art and functional design. Rather than subscribing to a single discipline within woodwork, the team seamlessly blends practical skill, material knowledge, and refined design principles.

Every piece created in the workshop reflects TG + Co’s commitment to quality and the belief that beautiful craftsmanship can elevate and enhance the experience of a space. The team takes pride in making timeless work that will bring life-long joy to its owners.

Approach

TG + Co believes that how something is made is just as important as how it looks. Working alongside architects and private clients, TG + Co understands both the technical demands of construction and the principles of exceptional design.

This rare combination enables them to bridge the gap between concept and creation—elevating ideas thoughtfully and aesthetically. In an industry where traditional skills are becoming increasingly rare, TG + Co believe in the preservation of woodworking as a craft to meet unique or complex design challenges with ingenuity and a human touch—creating work that never compromises on beauty, detail, or function.

How we work

TG+Co is a collaborative, bespoke joinery company that crafts beautiful things from wood.

We like to see ourselves on the same side of the table as the architect or designer, approaching our role as one that brings their vision for their clients’ projects to life in the design process.

This helps us weigh in on what’s possible, while closely working alongside the design team to ensure our joinery is as functional as it is beautiful.

Upon agreement of the brief, we will issue fabrication drawings for sign-off by the Architect and client. These drawings include clear specifications of materials and ironmongery, and need agreed finalisation before we proceed with manufacture.

Once completed, we build your project off-site to ensure that any kinks are worked out before installation, making it a seamless process on the day.
