Collaborating with Weston Surmon + Dean (now Surmon Weston), this project featured a unique working arrangement where the architects also served as contractors, designing and building the structure with TG+Co founder, Tim Gaudin, as the primary skilled craftsperson. The construction involved building most elements on-site using stud frame construction, with only the doors and bookcase prefabricated in the workshop. TG+Co’s scope encompassed the entire project - structure, doors, windows, and all joinery work.
