This kitchen installation focused on simple, classical detailing and design centred around a curved glass screen as the main architectural feature, which also functioned as a door frame element. The project's primary technical challenge involved creating the curved timber elements. TG+Co employed a glulam (glue-laminated) construction technique, cutting timber into thin slivers and forming them over a negative mould. The thin wood strips were then glued together while pressed over the former, with the adhesive holding the curved shape once dried.
